Automations on your BYD,
the car reacting on its own.
DashArc automations make the car act on its own when something happens: open the windows slightly when a door opens, switch to Eco mode when the battery drops, turn on the A/C at a set time. You build each routine in a few taps, on the head unit or your phone.
They run on the head unit itself, even with the portal closed, and can use BYD cloud commands.

How an automation works
- Trigger: any data DashArc reads from the car — doors, lights, turn signals, windows, battery, fuel, speed, arriving at or leaving a safe place, GPS, date and time. One automation can have several triggers.
- Action: any vehicle command — windows, A/C, locks, drive modes, lights — plus BYD cloud commands.
- Wait between steps.
- Condition with two branches: one if true, another if false.
Ready-made automations
- Open the window 10% when the door opens (only that door’s window).
- Eco saver: switches to Eco when the battery drops below 30%.
- Persistent Eco: keeps Eco on even if someone changes the mode.
Use them as they are or edit them your way.
Together with telemetry
Triggers use the same data as telemetry, so you can react to almost anything the car reports.
Frequently asked questions
Can I create routines on a BYD?
Yes. With DashArc you create automations with triggers, actions, waits and conditions, on the head unit or your phone.
Do automations work with my phone off?
Yes. They run on the car’s head unit; the phone is only for creating and editing them.
Can I turn on the A/C at a set time?
Yes. Use date and time as the trigger and BYD cloud climate control as the action.
