FREE UNLOCK · YOUTUBE · NETFLIX

YouTube and Netflix on your BYD,
starting with a free unlock.

To get YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video and WhatsApp on your BYD head unit, you first need to enable app installs. The DashArc Unlocker does that for free: it opens the head unit with no root and no computer.

Once the head unit is unlocked, the DashArc store installs YouTube and the other Google Play apps. Passengers watch with the car in use, even while moving.

How to unlock, step by step

Download the DashArc Unlocker (free) and copy the APK to a USB drive, into the folder for your head unit's region.
Install the Unlocker on the head unit through BYD's app installer, with the car parked.
Open it and tap Unlock, grant the permissions and enable the DashArc Unlocker under Accessibility.
Done. It runs BYD's verification, turns on ADB, opens the APK installer and installs DashArc.

After unlocking

Once the head unit is unlocked, the DashArc store installs YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, WhatsApp, Instagram and any Google Play app — so passengers can watch with the car in use, even while moving. DashArc also brings Waze to the cluster, shows live cameras on your phone, records dashcam and sentry footage and controls the car remotely.
