How to unlock, step by step

Download the DashArc Unlocker (free) and copy the APK to a USB drive, into the folder for your head unit's region.
Install the Unlocker on the head unit through BYD's app installer, with the car parked.
Open it and tap Unlock, grant the permissions and enable the DashArc Unlocker under Accessibility.
Done. It runs BYD's verification, turns on ADB, opens the APK installer and installs DashArc on the BYD Song Plus head unit.

After unlocking

Once the BYD Song Plus head unit is unlocked, the DashArc store installs YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, WhatsApp, Instagram and any Google Play app — so passengers can watch with the car in use, even while moving. DashArc also brings Waze to the cluster, shows live cameras on your phone, records dashcam and sentry footage and controls the car remotely.

Tested on DiLink 3 head units running the 13.1.33 system family, on a 2026 vehicle. Not yet tested on 2027 models. Installing third-party apps on the head unit is at your own risk; not every feature may be available on your vehicle.
