BYD Europe — App Sideloading Guide
Guide for Europe-configured BYD head units. Unlike local-password regions, Europe is configured for online APK verification, so the normal USB flow can require BYD cloud/QR approval.

USB — Application Installation {code}
European DiLink configurations are different from local-password markets. The installer uses BYD online verification rather than a universal offline password.
- Check the configured country code on the head unit.
- Create
Application Installation CODEusing that configured code. - Copy the APKs to the folder.
- Insert the USB drive.
- The installer can request QR/cloud authorization instead of a password.
There is no single Europe-wide numeric folder code because Europe covers multiple country configurations.
BYD Europe backend
The reverse-engineered installer points European verification to apr-eu.byd.auto. Approval is decided by BYD's server. A correctly named USB folder does not guarantee that an arbitrary APK is approved.
Engineering menu / ADB
If the unit still exposes the IMEI engineering flow, dial *#91532547#*, generate the code with BYD Secret and enable ADB. This avoids relying on cloud approval for normal adb install.

Only use this route when the version shown by the car starts with 13.1.33..
- Download 13.1.33.2404.
- Prepare
BYDUpdatePackage\msm8953_64\UpdateFull.zipon a FAT32/exFAT USB drive. - After 2404 boots, pair Bluetooth and dial
*#91532547#*. - Use BYD Secret with the IMEI digits shown by the head unit.
- Enable
Wireless adb debug switchandDebug mode when USB is connected. - Install PackageInstallerUnlocked.apk, then install normal APKs from File Manager or ADB.
